Polly represents clients in all matters relating to horses including drafting all types of contracts; contract disputes; sales and lease disputes; mortality issue disputes; formation of partnerships, corporations, LLCs and LLPs; property liability; horse insurance and disputes; zoning and zoning disputes, disciplinary matters with the USEF, trainer/breeder liability and breeding issue and disputes.

Education

In 2000, Polly graduated from the University of California, Davis with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in American Studies. In 2003, she graduated from the Santa Clara University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree. Polly took courses in Social Justice Law, to the extent that her Law School named her a Public Interest Scholar.

Court Admissions

Polly is admitted to practice before all Courts in the State of California, including the Supreme Court of California, California Superior Court, and United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Polly is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Mateo Bar Association.

Professional Equine Memberships

In addition, Polly is a member of the United States Equestrian Federation, United States Hunter Jumper Association, Pacific Coast Horse Shows Association, Norcal Hunter Jumper Association, and the California Dressage Society. In 1997, Polly won the Norcal Senior Medal Finals.

Ongoing Education

Polly stays current on court decisions and the latest changes in Equine Law by attending the National Equine Law Conference in Kentucky, and is a member of The American College of Equine Attorneys.
